Privacy
The Rent Cap is operated by Navazor Capital LLC, a California company. Short version: the calculator runs in your browser, and what you type stays there.
What we collect
- Calculator inputs: none. Rents, dates, and property details are processed in your browser and are never sent to us.
- Cookies, analytics, and ads: none. The site sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts.
- Server logs: the site is served by Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3. Access logging is turned off, so we keep no record of visits.
- Preferences: if you switch between light and dark themes, that choice is saved in your own browser's storage, not with us.
- Emails you send us: if you email us (for example, to report an error), we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to respond and to correct the site, and we don't sell or share it.
Third parties
- Google Fonts: the headline font loads from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when it loads. We plan to host the font ourselves.
- Links to other sites: government and other sites we link to have their own privacy practices.
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors over time or across sites, so a browser "Do Not Track" signal doesn't change anything here. We don't allow third parties to track visitors on this site, apart from the font request described above.
Your choices and requests
To ask what we have from you, or to have us correct or delete an email you sent, contact info@navazorcapital.com. Please don't send tenant names, addresses, or other personal details; the city, the rule, and the dates are enough for an error report.
Changes
If this changes, for example if we add privacy-friendly analytics, we'll update this page and the date below before the change takes effect.
